Three disciplines under one roof. Muay Thai, No-Gi BJJ, and Wrestling — coached with the same standard we'd apply to a fighter preparing for title night.
Each program is taught as its own art — not mashed into "MMA." Show up once a week or every day. Beginner or lifer. The bar is the same.
Martial arts since age 3. D1 wrestler. Greco-Roman at the Olympic Training Center. UFC-level training. Fifteen years coaching.
Eric started martial arts at age 3 through Judo, wrestled through high school as a Boonton High School Hall of Famer — still holding the all-time wrestling wins record — then competed Division I at Columbia University. He trained Greco-Roman wrestling at the United States Olympic Training Center and has trained with and alongside UFC fighters during fight camps.
He's helped train UFC fighters, worked alongside UFC-level coaches, and still actively trains in competitive MMA himself. A Functional Patterns practitioner and biomechanics specialist, Eric is known for wrestling takedowns and defense, adapting techniques to different body types and injuries, and helping students stay calm under pressure.
FTC is the gym he built around the idea that real coaching should be accessible, technical, and free of gatekeeping.
Kaitlin is an assistant coach for our Kids Muay Thai program and also offers private and semi-private Muay Thai training for both children and adults.
Having trained under Coach Eric for the past four years, Kaitlin brings a strong understanding of technique, fundamentals, and the importance of individualized coaching. Patient, encouraging, and detail-oriented — she's passionate about helping students of all ages build confidence and skill, both on the mats and off.
